About 34 years ago we acquired a pair of Chinese Lion Dogs (Foh Dogs) from an Art Gallery in San Francisco. The gallery had sold some artwork and failed to pay us for the works sold. We accepted the Chinese Lion dogs in lieu of payment.

The gallery owner said they were from China. But we have looked inside and outside and cannot find anything that marks the origin. At least that we can recognize.

The dogs are quite large, standing over 40″ high. The base of each weigh between 50-80 Lbs. and the dogs themselves weigh between 40 and 50 Lbs.
