It is marked GERMANY which clearly means that the item is not made by the [i]Wiener Kunstkeramische Werkstätte[/i] (WKKW) but merely a reproduction of the original design which already lowers the ‘value’. As the German manufacturer did not even include a maker mark of sorts it’s per definition a low budget item because there is no (renown) factory behind it.
The original designer name by the way was [i]Michael Mörtl[/i] ([i]Moertl[/i] in correct non-Umlaut writing) while the design was originally named [i]Gänsereigen[/i] ([i]Gaensereigen[/i] in correct non-Umlaut writing). But – as said – that is irrelevant here.
