Hi All,

I found this unusual figural bank at a thrift store in New Jersey. At first I thought it was a teapot, but then realized it was a bank with a slot at the back and a rubber stopper in the base (rubber has hardened). It is quite big, standing 11″ tall.

It has no markings and I haven’t been able to find any information on it. Please could you review the images and advise? I’d love to know the origin and age.

Thanking you in advance for any info!

Wow, thanks Martha!

It is in really great condition, well, with the exception of the stopper which has hardened and I cannot remove it.

I’ve attached an image of the base.

Thanks again!
