Florence ceramics is Florence Ward who started business in her garage in 1942. She made figurines mostly which are highly prized and can be worth into the Thousands. My books only show figurines, birds & animals. In 1964 the factory was sold to Scripto and the florence name came with the sale. i would have to see your mark or a discription to know if it was made when Florence owned it. Either way pottery made in Calif. is very collectable more so in the West coast or from people who moved away from Calif. Scripto made item as to what you have also mugs and ashtrays before they quit in 1977.
