I need help in identifying this style gas station give away dishes from the 1960s. I have inherited two cabinets of them, including all accessories, such as teapot, suger, creamer, etc.
They are orangey brown with cocoa brown bands and the dots are off white. Any information would be appreciated, afterall if I am owning two cabinets of dishes I should at least be able to talk about them. Thank you. Two cabinets full and nothing has a mark on any pieces? Are the dishes heavy like stoneware? I know gas stations and grocery stores were giving away by buying a certain amount of gas and a lot of these were Watts. I think Watts marked all their stuff but maybe not. I’ll keep looking, but would like to know what they are made of.
