Hello,
I have five Flow Blue – Progress plates, approximately 6 3/4″ across. I have sent you pictures of one of the five that has the most readable trademark. I also have a close up of the part of the backside that has a tiny, gold mark (checkmark?), as well as a number and an indented brand without color. None of the plate has any chips on the front, some do on the back. There is some crackling on the front of one or two.
On the picture I sent of plate one, it has an 18 on the back. Three of the other plates have the number 8, and one plate have what looks like a 24, the 2 is precise, but the second digit resembles a 4, I think.
What would you date these items? What does the gold mark mean? What do the numbers mean? What is the approximate value of this plate?
Thank you for your consideration.
Janine

I looked up the sold listings on Ebay to see what people were actually paying !! The above sold but not for the amount listed !! It was a “”best offer accepted” !! I think your bread plates are from 1894/5 if I remember correctly !!
