I have two Goebel figurines that I was told (years ago) were part of a collection Goebel created with International Children in tradition dress. I think they are the “Lithuanian” children – hence the “LT” in the figurine number. (Note: These are NOT MIHummel figurines).

Both are about 4.75″ tall and carry the Goebel Full Bee (stamped) trademark.

The boy carries “LT 8/A” and “42” on the bottom.
The girl carries “LT 8/B” and “43” on the bottom.

I’d like to list these on eBay, but want to first confirm that these are the Lithuania children from that collection.

Thanks, in advance, for any input.

Well,, as you know Goebel and Hummel is certainly not my area !! Learned something new !! All the sites I checked did not mention that fact !! One even said that anything after 1940 was under MI Hummel`s direction and could only be made with her approval !! Is there something in the bee mark that makes it different ?? Or is it just the lack of signature ?? Dooesn`t hurt to expand my knowledge you know !!
One other question,, why, when I search for Goebel figurines, does only Hummel come up ?? Was curious about this when I was looking for these as Goebel !! I knew he was in business before the agreement with Hummel !! You are the expert so figured you would know !! I hate to waste time looking for the wrong thing !!
