Need help identifying this dish with lid. It is a pale green, no makers marks, with rough edges. Dish itself is 9 & 7/8 by 4 & 7/8, lid is the same, it has an inset handle of same glass. Glows under blacklight but it doesn’t look like the other Vaseline glass items that I’ve seen. I got it from my great aunt. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What you have is a refridgerator Dish, it is made of Jadeite glass. A lot of vintage glass from the past will glow green under a black light . A lot had a small amount of uranium in the glass, making them glow under black light.

There are many glass companies that produced Jadeite glass. Anchor Hocking, McKee, Smith glass and Gibson glass just to name a few. As well as so many reproductions out there. With so many pieces of Jadeite glass available the value I would estimate between $20.00 and $35.00 at auction.
