Hello,

I need some help identifying a few teacup/saucer sets I inherited from my grandmother. I haven’t been able to find a match for the manufacturer’s logos on 2 of them and the third one doesn’t have any markings on it at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

TEACUP/SAUCER #1:

Thanks, marthahill! The third teacup and saucer have no identifying marks at all. Nothing to indicate what company it came from or when it was made.

Read above !! My mother also collected these teacups & saucers !! They were very popular during the 1970`s and 80`s !! Not that is when they were made,, most dated before 1950 !! But the collecting was popular then !!

May I ask what your location is ?? The first is a generic mark that may have been used by any of the pottery mfrs. !! The potteries not only decorated their own products !! They also sold blanks (undecorated porcelain) to other studios where they put their designs on the pottery shapes made by others.!!
The blanks may have been produced by any of the Staffordshire potteries or others !!
The second one I think is an import mark not a makers mark !! This style globe was used about the same period as the Nippon mark you can see in the link !! Nippon was also an import !! Nippon is the japanese word for “Japan” !!
Can not see a mark on the third one !!
