I have not been able to identify this mark on a tea cup and saucer. I have seen pictures of this mark with “MADE IN GERMANY” on the internet, but my tea cup and saucer do not have this notation. The tea cup has the initials “J. G. & Z.” above an “H”, all inside a mark in the shape of a teapot. The word “HANDELSMERK” is outside and under the teapot mark. The number “104” is under the teapot mark on the tea cup. The number “039” is under the teapot mark on the saucer. Attached are pictures of the tea cup and saucer.

I would like to know:
(1) who was the manufacturer/maker,
(2) which is the country of origin, and
(3) what is the date/year the tea cup and saucer were made.

Thank you for any help identifying this mark.

Manufacturer and country of origin (in this case) unknown. Shown mark is that of an unnamed importer / retailer in the Netherlands. “& Z.” is used for “& Zoon” (& Son) or “& Zonen” (& Sons). “Handels Merk” means “Trademark”. The retailer in question sold items from Germany and early Czechoslovakia, as as I know. Period of operations may well cover the years between 1920 and 1970-ish.
