The number is usually the style, pattern or color or all three !! That is how china is often ordered by the retailer !! The mfr makes it and the retailer orders by the number !! Much easier to say give me X number of plates, number 303 !! Or X number of 303 coffee sets !! If they didn`t do that how would they describe them out of the many styles they made ?? The number is usually only helpful to the retailer and mfr !!
I don’t know what is mfr. 🙁 if you’re asking about the text I think it’s FABRIZIERT & DECORIERT IN KARLSBAD 303. I’ve found information about this stamp Victoria – 1904 – 1918 Austria, 1918 – 1939 Czechoslovakia, 1939 – 1945 Germany. Karlsbad is in Germany so the service is from the last period, after that the company was merged with other company – http://museumvictoria.com.au/collections/items/1820322/shaving-mug-victoria-schmidt-company-royal-exhibition-building-czechoslovakia-circa-1918-38

But i can’t find that stamp with the gold letters and what the number 303 mean. Also I asked antiquarian and he said that it’s made around The second world war.
