I have heavy John B Taylor stoneware plates, I believe were produced some time between 1939 and 1954. I cannot locate the name of the pattern. they have a blue band border, and the design is a milk maid or country maid with puff sleeves, an apron and a hat, in the same blue with some light brown carrying a pail in one hand and a sprig in the other. I know that at the least the pattern was also produced on tall chocolate or cider mugs. Does anyone know what this was called-cannot find it anywhere

Many dishes made were not given a name by the factory. Usually it’s named by persons or dealers by the design on the dish. Years ago this was given a name “Milk Maid” because shes carrying a milk or creamer can. There is some pieces on E-Bay and there was some on Etsys
