We are looking for help in identifying this Majolica set. It was identified as as Early Chinese Tea Set which we have since figured out is a Majolica set possibly tobacco set. Any help in identifying age and maker and value would be helpful. The plate has an H. Is that Holdcroft? Thank you.

@openairantiques, could you please upload the image? We have various articles and marks that could assist you in identifying the mark. Here’s some of them:
https://kovels.com/articles-on-marks/dictionary-of-marks/majolica-3.html
also, https://kovels.com/mark/joseph-holdcroft-2 (Joseph Holdcroft).
Do a search for Majolica marks on our main search box on top of the site. Hope this helps.
Thanks, Kovels Customer Service.
“Early Chinese Tea Set” is not “Majolica set” is not “tobacco set”. People would surely like to help, but your description is worthless and your pictures hidden behind Google Drive login crud. Hold in mind that Google Drive is a data snoop and hated by many users; because of that many would not click on such links even if they would indeed default to images (simply hosted by Google is bad enough). Select a free image host (imgur, flickr, dropbox, imgshare, etc.) that does not demand a personal data striptease from viewers, then we might be able to help. Sorry for the wall of text, this forum software was coded by a poor soul stuck in the 1990s (no highlighting, no emphasis, no paragraphs, etc.).
