Help needed, not sure of potter.
Can you please help identify the maker of this pot. A friend of ours, now deceased, bought it from an antique dealer in the 1970’s. The friend suggested it was made by an associate of Willi Soukop. I am not sure about that as the mark doesn’t look like Soukop.[attachment]P1020912a.jpg[/attachment][attachment]P1020920a.jpg[/attachment]
Marks on the bottom appear to be Japanese !! I could not find any traditional pottery vases done by him or anyone associated with him !! They were sculptors not traditional potters although can not say for sure !! This vase is not indicative of their work !! I will see if I can find out what the characters are !!
