I have a Roselane vase here with mystery sigs. I found some basic info of the history of the company and I suspect that the sig Liam might be short for William the owner but not sure. I also can’t find a specific date for these vases. I found two other vases similar to this one but both were finished products with lots of detail and no sigs both circa 1950s. Mine is crazed throughout, has something on the bottom that could have been accidentally transferred at some point and it’s messy and doesn’t seem finished. The gold gilding is not in the lines in some areas and there is a side that has the indentations for pine cones and needles but wasn’t filled in with the gold gilding. In that same area there is a paint streak that seems to have been the start of something but cuts off an inch in…not sure what to make of this vase. Could it possibly be a forgery? If not what is the story, date of creation and possible worth?

My guess is that this was a piece of imperfect green ware that someone was learning on !! I see three names on the bottom,, Dan,,Ben and Liam ?? Would not be unusual for the one learning to fire it and take it home !! Like guys usually do,, they (if they are like my family) have notoriously poor memories !!
Above are those that have sold recently on ebay !! My suggestion is,, don`t quit your day job !!

Yeah there is at least one finished product in circulation of this particular vase. This is the only one I could find. I did some research and found that the company owner’s name is William and thought the signature Liam could possibly be short for William and maybe this vase was rough draft. I’m not an expert though. The clay and stamp look to me to be legit but I’m a total amateur and completely unsure lol. So I thought I’d try my luck asking in the forums.
