I am trying to find out if some plates that I inherited from my grandmother are worth anything. I thought Kovels had information on antique plates, but the earliest one I found was 1995–hardly antique! My plates are Royal Doulton and date at least from 1950, probably much earlier (my grandmother was born in the late 1800s).

Does Kovels have price information on antiques, or do i need to find an appraiser?
