Good Morning 🙂 I have a interest in Antiques but just recent 🙂 and I’m trying to identify different markings of things I find, this site has helped me a lot (I never joined I just read and looked around) :blush: but I am stuck on this, I think it’s a plate of some sort (cakes or something) I was just wondering if anyone knew the hallmark so I can carry on identifying it 🙂

It was from one of my great great grandmothers so I’m just interested in the history etc

heres a pic to me it kinda looks like a lancashire rose in the middle but the stamp is quite faint so I’m confused on where it’s from as I thought it was German or at least that area [img size=250]https://kovels.com/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/20130924_102927b.jpg[/img]

It is a [b]Max Roesler[/b] mark, the ’11’ however is irrelevant.

Note that most German manufacturers used some form of bymarks related to quality control which (for us) are completely useless.
