“… this Limoges mark …”

The orange mark is no producers mark at all but that of the US Macy’s department stores. Who actually made it for them is irrelevant (as it’s no pure manufacturer design but Macy-dictated); it was either Balleroy Freres or Julien Balleroy & Co. as far as I know.
