Hi. I just purchased a great Royal Doulton bowl and I’m unable to find any information about it. The only info I could find was that the logo was from after 1902 when they added “Royal” to their name. I would really like to find out some information about it. It has a great handpainted stork or crane on the inside. There is an artist signature, but I haven’t been able to identify the artist.
Another question I had is should I repair the bowl? It has a chip to the rim and the white paint in the stork has worn away. I have a person who can repair the chip and inpaint the white color of the stork. Should I have it fixed, or is it better to leave it alone?
Thank you for any help.
