I do not think you will find these lamps made by a commercial mfr !! The initials and year were scratched into the ceramic when it was still green ware and before the firing !! Modern lamps are not made that way except by those that are ceramic hobbyists !! Back in the 80`s there were ceramic hobby shops in almost every small town and several in larger towns !! You could buy anything you wanted to decorate your home with,,paint and decorate it yourself and then the shop would fire it for you !! The flowers are just decals you could buy !! The HL is likely the persons initials and the year was 1986 !! Thats how almost everyone marked the pieces so they would get the correct one back after firing and so the shop owner charged for the correct piece !! Even lamps you buy today ( with one or two exceptions) are not made by one company !! They buy the ceramics and the other parts are bought separately !! Commercial mfrs would have stamps or as today, just a stick on label to indicate the company that made them !!
