I never knew it’s name before I recently saw an auction where 8 cups sold for $3000.

I have 2 pieces. One from my grandmother’s estate. She spent a lot of years living and traveling around Asia.

The second came from a garage sale.

Neither have any marks. So how do you date this?

Too bad…old or new, Ge ware is very pretty stuff.

there was a company in the U.S.A. that made a lot of pottery like that but I can’t remember the company. I remember reading about it in P & P books. I suppose someone with more experience could tell by the color of the clay used.I seen a piece of the real thing and the clay looked whitish
