Hello,

I found this piece of Hull pottery/basket in an abandoned town house unit at my work…it was in a garbage can. any posible details as to what this is? Its in perfect shape except for a small chip on the underside of the bottom rim. cant see it unless you turn it upside down. I have seen the pink colored ones like it.
It also has 2 marks on the bottom that look like this. // Then right next to these 2 marks is has B-29-12 inscribed as well.

Thank you for any information on this.

Hull pottery was in Crooksville Ohio. They made most of these matte glaze items in the 1940ties. Your basket is highly collectable because it appeals to collecters who collect baskets and Hull collecters. The color is Turquoise and pattern name is bownot. There is one on e-bay right now identical to this one with the same chips on bottom. If it is 10 and one half inches tall Kovels has it priced at $412.00. The one on E-bay is priced at $850.00
