I can’t read the words and I was wondering who made this. Drip glazed. About 4″ tall including lid. About 4-1/2″ across at widest point. To me the mark looks like a bear wearing a crown; carrying a tray of bread and carrying a sign. I’m hoping this is an easy one to identify. Thanks in advance.

I think that is a company trademark not a makers mark for the container !! These would have been ordered by the company made to their specifications !! I would bet it was a container for a cheese spread or other condiment !! I have a similar size earthenware container that I use for a sugar container !! Mine had a cheese spread but does not have the bear !!
