I inherited a small blue box with a floral print on the lid. It is marked with a 5 point crown, PM, Dresden China, Germany, 5. Since I can’t find anything like it I am wondering and assuming it is a reproduction and not as old as I think. Can anyone help me with that?

“Dresden” in this case is merely a style indicator used as part of a mark from a manufacturer that was neither located in Dresden nor the region of Saxony. You can read up on them here:

Both mark and item are therefore legit, only not as old as you probably assumed.
