Dear Members,

Can I ask for your help with some plate.
On fase it has roses on white background with provence-style golden edge.

On backside takes place only hardly readable very small undersigning where only the first name Adams is distinct, close to the edge.

I found no similar form pattern or even picture motive among plates by Adams and even the other manufacturers on resources about porcelain.

It looks like piece from 60-s. Was it that time usual for Adams and maybe other manufacturer to mark the plate just with small inscription on very side.

I appreciate if you give me an advice about searching for data on pattern and timing.

Regards and thank you for your help,
Vasily

Can you get a close pic of the name on back ?? This would not be a makers name but is more likely a decorators name !! You see the center part of your plate is transferware but the gold is usually applied by hand !! Workers who do this are pain by the number of items they complete,, that is why you sometimes see names, numbers or other marks on back !! Thats how they kept up with the number they produced so they are paid correctly !!

Dear Marthahill,
To see the picture closer, please you can use the right key of mouse on picture, and there “open in separate tab”, in this new window you can enlarge the image.
Also I will soon add the more detailed picture of the fragment with inscription.
Thank you for reply
