I have a hanging flower basket that was found in an barn in the Midwest. There are no markings inside or out, The piece hangs by chain, there are three holes where the chain is fastened to the pot. It measures approx. 8″x12″. Funnel Shaped, ending with a finial on the bottom. There is pattern of sheep/ram heads and leafs that circle the center of pot above and below are just raised rings that graduate down from the top to the bottom, It may have originally been of terra cotta color but only glazed bright white on the inside. Other than having been painted it’s in perfect condition

No way to tell who may have made the hanging planter !! Likely 1920 or so and would have been the type used on many Victorian Queen Anne style porches !!

What is the dark item on the bottom of the vase ?? Looks like a lamp base that has been re-made into a vase !! How big is it ??
