Hi again,
Can anyone give me info on this piece? Appeared to have had a lid at one point as there is a hole on side of top as shown in photo. The camera made the colors really ‘pop’..they are not that vivid in person. Haviland on bottom with 1627 hand painted in gold. Thanks in advance

From what little I could find this appears to be Haviland barbotine or majolica !!
That is a form of slip casting decoration !! Could find several pics of Haviland barbotine pottery but little info about the company history using that form of decoration !! I would send good pics to the Haviland collectors,, link above !! They may be able to give more info than I can find online !!
