I have a Davenport oval dish (29cms X 21cms) with cover but do not recognise the mark on the underside of the dish with those found on web sites on the internet
Does anyone recognise the mark?
Is this a genuine Davenport?
I have only included one pic at this stage as the file size restriction is 2MB
I will be able to send a pic of the dish itself if it will assist in identifying the item
The white spot on the pic is a reflection from a light

Many thanks for your assistance and patience. Based on the advice you have given me I have been able to obtain the information I was after. Much appreciated

Somewhere on this website you can find my email address !! Maybe in profile or something !! Others have found it !! However you were just asking if the item you have is Davenport or not !! There is nothing to indicate that it is a repro or fake of any kind !! Looks good to me and I would have no problem selling it as genuine !! Seeing the pattern is not necessary as they had many different ones !! Some were named and others were just numbered !! You just need to look on ebay and see what the buying public is interested in and check the sold/completed sales to see what they are actually paying !! The exact item is not necessary,, just find something similar !!~
If you do not know how to find the sold items let me know and I will explain !!

I have tried repeatedly to upload pics of the dish using the same method as I used for uploading the pic forth mark, but without success
I have also reduced the size of the file considerably but this does not help
Are you able to send me an email address that I can send the photos to
If you could, this would be greatly appreciated

The pic of the mark worked fine but not the others !!

http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/d/davenport.html

Here are many of the marks used !! Your mark appears to fall into the 1815 to 1850 category !! Several different marks were used during that period !! But all were just the name DAVENPORT and the pattern/shape name !! Suez can be either the shape or the pattern name !!

Did you receive the pick of the Davenport dish mark?
If so do you have any comment?
