I have a covered bowl with the mark
Porcelaine
L.R.I.
Limoges France
It’s stamped in green, feels like above the glaze. Just above and slightly right is a script L. I’m not seeing this mark when I have searched for Limoges markings on line.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Sandy, You can find your mark on About.com Antiques or L.R.L porcelaine limoges, France & it will take you to the web site About .com. They used 3 different marks, circa 1920ties. L.R.L. stands for Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & lehman. The other letter to the right is not important enough. Recently a charger plate sold for $600.00 of course it was beautifully painted of an Indian Chief. I would say it is real. Usually fakes are some emblem W/ Limoges
