I have two porcelain figurines with the marking of Italy only on the bottom. I can’t seem to find any info out on them anywhere. Any help is appreciated. These were from my grandmother who is now 90 but has no idea where they came from other than “Italy”.

I have attached a few pictures of the plates and candy dishes I have with the same coloring insignia

I have a few platters as well. My Grandmother brought the first piece over with her from Sorrento in the late 1920’s…. I went to Sorrento to see if I could find a matching pattern – no luck. Some of the items have Siena, Italy; some have just the word Italy cut into the bottoms… no dates or other names. Please let me know what you find. Thanks

I still don’t have a clue about these. Do you have pics? I am going to take them somewhere next month to be looked at. Will keep you posted. I do know they are from Italy as both of my great grandparents are from Italy and all of the children kept items that came from Italy. Unfortunately, all of the other nine siblings have passed and my grandmother cannot remember where they came from.

Hi Fiscskin – Duelink here again – I found a “wooden shoe” shaped piece, looks like it may have been used as a planter at one time.

Fiscskin – Hi, I am also looking to identify the markings on the bottom of your figurines. I have a set of tea cups/snack saucers as well as candy dishes and dessert dishes with the same markings and very similar color pattern. If I find anything out, I will let you know and please do likewise.

I do know that the original dish that I have my grandmother brought over from Sorento/Vica Equenz Italy with her back in the 20’s….and I have since added pieces to my collection.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on these? Thinking they may be from the 1920’s to 1940’s. Any advice would be awesome!!
