Recently acquired this teapot, presumably Japanese, based on other items from estate. I am unable to decipher characters. Any help is greatly appreciated. 10 cm. tall.

Thank you very much. That is more information than what I had prior to asking. I very much appreciate you looking and taking the time to answer. I do not think this was a import, but rather purchased on a trip to Japan, perhaps at the airport. Either way, not quite what I had hoped.

The last pic,, and the character on the right,, I think is the Dai Nippon mark !! It just means Great Japan !! It appears on many imports and other items from Japan !! The marks may say “made in the manner of” or similar !! Other than the bit of gold paint it is transferware and shows no age at all !! Most likely a Japanese import from 1970`s or later !!
