I have a 45 Pc Set of Limoges Dinnerware. I am trying to find out more information about it. I have found several sets on various websites, but none that match the pattern on mine. There is a gold stamp on back in the center that says Galeria De France, then at the bottom that says Limoges France. If anyone can tell me about them and how much the pieces are worth I would appreciate it. I have Dinner plates, Salad plates, Sandwich plates, Salad bowls, Serving bowls, Large Platters, Oval Dish, Creamer, Sugar bowls, and Large Serving bowl with lid.

Galleria de France Is probably a retailer,, it is not a makers mark !! It is not unusual for retail stores to have china made for them !! They put their name on it with Limoges France that tells where it was made but not who made it !! Could be any one of many companies that work in the Limoges region !! As to value,,hard to say !! The newer sets tend to bring much less than the older ones !! Selling a complete set in todays economy is difficult !! I would look on ebay and see if any in your pattern are selling and for what price !! If you do not know the pattern name, (many do not have named patterns) you can try sending a pic to replacements.com and see if they know it !! Do not go by the prices at replacements.com for value on the secondary market !! Theirs are high retail numbers !!
