My mother recently passed and left me this dish. It is marked limoges france with the anchor and A L on either side of the anchor. It is signed in gold with the first letter worn and the second letter M. This dish has the violet pattern on the bottom of the dish. It is about 12″ long and 5″ wide. The background is cream and the sides are light green with a lot of gold raised trim and detail. I assume it is an asparagus server or celery dish.

I have searched all the violet patterns I can find and can’t find anything like this.

Will try to post pictures.
Thanks for any help:)

This is what I can tell you about your piece without seeing it, you are correct it is an asparagus server or celery dish, it was produced by A. Lanternier & Co. ca. 1891-1914 Much of there factory decorated china (hand painted)did not have pattern names. Hope this helps 🙂
