one other thing I keep forgetting is I don’t think you have a dresser/vanity set. I think your lge tray and powder bowl is really a sugar bowl and tray is for carrying a sugsr bowl and creamer to the dining table. Lot’s of these were made. You are missing the creamer. The other bowl does not match and it may be missing a lid, notice it does not have the pale green going around the bowl. There is lot’s of search engines on web to learn more. Thank you
No it is not limoges. Limoges is a city in France. Syracuse is in New York>That dish is part of a set made by Syracuse China dinnerware. By the way Syracuse china is very collectable. Somne pieces are very costly. They made a lot of dinnerware for traveling trains. It is an old piece and pretty. display it and keep it. I have a partial set of Syracuse china and to complete my set it is very expensive for my particular pattern.
Sorry two of them made in Limoges. T&V is not listed in Limoges list of factories but in France. Your syracuse is not part of you set and you have to be the judge on the other 3 pieces. As far as value you can get an idea on e-bay under limoges. In these times Limoges plates especially if beautiful and signed have been going for $70.00 to $90.00 each at auctions by collector’s. They are old pieces. Have a good day
hi, I got some more info. 3 of your pieces were made in limoges,France. There were lot’s of factories there as was Haviland. Bottom of bowl was made by William Guerin Co. GDA also Limoges made in the Charles Field Haviland (large tray) The date is 1897 to present. It does not say what the initials GDA stand for, I think maybe the artist’s init.
