I have tried searching online without any luck to find more information on this plate. We uncovered it in a random box in the garage and have no idea where it came from or when it was purchasedx. On the back it is marked bavaria and has the numbers 118 or 811 depending on how you are looking at it. Please help!!!!!
Most of these didn`t have a pattern name !! Some had company ID numbers but depending on the mfr. the number may only identify the shape !! These porcelain mfrs. had many individual artists who painted the designs !! So even a set may not match exactly !! Tendril here or leaf there may be different on each !!
What is the size/depth of this dish ?? Its possible that it was purchased as a single piece !! They were imports into the U.S. as well as other countries so I doubt they were expensive for that time !!
Could have also been a gift from someone to your family !!

You can look through these and see if your dish is included !! Some things were sold a s sets and some were not !! You didn`t give the size of your dish so hard to tell if it was part of a desert set or a bon bon dish sold as a single piece !! No historical connection,, just another porcelain mfr. that didn`t make it in the 30`s !! No connection to the war that I could find !! Anything significant would be on Chris`s company info at the site he gave !! He is a bit of a perfectionist and insists on accuracy !!
Attached I have added a close up of the mark, since no one in the family remembers anything of this piece and it’s been packed for at least 30 years, I’m trying to find out any information on the piece. Pattern name would be a start, it’s very odd for us to have only one piece, everything we have found has been an entire set of china/crystal or a tea cup and saucer matching set nothing we have found has been a random piece we have found china and crystal sets with over 100 pieces, this piece is just odd. Is there a set that this belongs to? Was this made in a workman’s camp from the war? Is there any historical value to the piece? Is this a missing set piece that has significant meaning to someone else who is missing it? These types of questions are what runs through my head and the reason why I am looking for as much information on it as possible.
Thanks
