Hello to All

I purchased a fruit bowl over the weekend. The only marking on it was the letter the following “J.” and stamped into was “England” followed by a number. The second bowl was marked “Sterling & Crystal Bowl” hand marked with a small x or t or j , also numbered and “England” stamped on it. Can anyone solve the riddles as to the makers of these?
