Hi All,

I do hope I’m in the correct forum. There are no markings on these pieces to indicate they are porcelain, but just looking at them, that would be my best guess.
I have 5 items that are each signed McDuff, yet I am unable to find anything on the said artist.
There are 2 trinket boxes, some type of small wall plaque, and and 2 ring holders maybe? Each is smooth, white, porcelain or some type of white glass, but the sides and tops of the items are glazed and various floral designs grace each piece. It doesn’t look like these pieces were done by some amateur artist, but I can find nothing on this McDuff person who signed each piece on front. Only one of the small ring holders has any kind of other markings. There is D-54-w on the bottom of it.
Any help of information would be appreciated. Thank you.

I forgot to mention that a lot of these artist’s would by blanks(plain) and then hand paint the items in their studio so maybe thats why there isn’t any Haviland mark.

when I try finding anything on McDuff I get a lot of Theodore Haviland item’s and from looking at your peices they do look like Haviland and also resemble Limoges. So maybe he designed and hand painted these item and worked for haviland. Just a thought. They did have a lot of artists that did a lot of hand painting and signed a lot of item’s especially flowered plates with their names. And Yes they are porcelian.
