Medical Pottery? Have no idea of what this is looking for a back story and value on this set. Very old condition and the pitcher has been broken and glued? Scroll down at the link and you will find your mark !! It was not for medical pottery just was one of Bishop and Stonier`s trademarks !!

Thank you again marthahill. It still does seem odd that it is part of the pottery and not stamped. We could make the assumption that is from the late 19th century. Is it a usual occurrence to have this many pieces from a set still together after so many years? I do not know anything about pottery or porcelain and this come to us as a large lot of boxes as one lot at auction.
