From what I can see I would say it’s an item created by Mr. [i]August Sältzer[/i] (also written “Saeltzer” in non-Umlaut form), who operated an art pottery and decoration studio in the town of Eisenach in Thuringia/Germany between 1858 and 1924; he was even declared “Hoflieferant” (purveyor) to the House of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt.
