Hi All
First time posting. Just trying to clear some stuff from my father in laws old house which has been in the family 200+ yeras and theres lots of stuff. Came across this and for the life in me i can’t find anything online. Looks interesting and would love to know anything if anyone can point me in right direction.

Made by [b]Schäfer & Vater[/b] from the town of [i]Rudolstadt-Volkstedt[/i] in Thuringia, Germany. Shown mark type was used between 1890 and 1962, but your item was probably made between 1890 and 1927.
