I have a large (6″) Bonnet Lady mug with no backstamp for ID. Only says, ‘Beswick, England
371
Sairy Gump’
on bottom of piece. Can someone help ID the vintage and any history surrounding lack of a backstamp, please? Thank you!

I guess you didn`t read the full description on the ebay link !! Issued in 19936 and retired in 1973 !! No way to know when each individual mug was made !! Could have been anywhere within that time frame !!
The standard mark was either the impressed John Beswick, England or what you have,, just Beswick England !! No stamp !!

I assume its this one made by Beswick ware ??

I believe so. I am not experienced at this, but only assume that based on only imprints that are on the bottom of this large mug. I guess that is one of my questions: possible dating info and manufacturer.

And yes, just like ebay one, except no printed stamp of any kind.
