I have an extensive collection of Mocha Ware from my grandmother and mother’s estates. I am dipping my toe in the water in Ebay with selling them. All in great condition and most stored away for 30 years or more. I do not want to leave money on the table especially since some of the prices showwn here are astounding. So I am putting out there a couple photos and asking for help identifying. 🙂

The tankard seems to be yellow ware or mocha ware and something close to cats eye pattern. any thoughts?

The tea pot is elegant and in great shape too. only one mark on the bottom – a “P””. a capital “P” with serifs. There appear to have been some Picasso inspired pieces with that letter mark. Dont want to get oo excited before I ask some outside folks – any thoughts?

Yes, Mr. Cody some pieces can bring up to $8,000.00 I would be doing my homework by getting good books or get in touch with a highly professional who know’s his stuff on old Mocha Ware and getting help dating it. Their is so many newer Mocha Ware or Yellow ware out there that who will pay the right price without proof that it is OlD. Real old Mocha ware goes back to 1800 and most made in England. As you know from selling on e-bay prices range for Mocha ware from .99 on up. You never know How old that piece was when Gramma bought it. Cat’s eye pattern is pretty pricey if it’s very old
