I found this guy in an antiques emporium in Keyport, NJ a couple of months ago. As shown by the photos, it’s an open-mouth fish or sea creature of some sort. The bottom reads “Hand Painted Betson”. Measure 2.5″ tall at it’s highest point & about 3.5″ long. There are 2 small holes near the base of the tail. Does anyone have an idea of what this is, where it was made, age, value? Also, How can I clean it without removing any of the paint? Thanks very for any feedback given!
