Hello. I am having no luck in my search for a pottery mark resembling this one : can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks in advance for any advice.
In case it might be of use to anyone else trying to identify this mark, I report my discovery that the maker is Fayencefabriek Holland, Utrecht. What looks like a J over an M may indicate decorator Jan Willem Mijnlieff, founder of Fayencefabriek in 1893 or 1894 (sources differ). See the mark at http://www.plateel.nl/
I assume my vase was made between 1893 (or 1894) and 1906, after which, reportedly, the pottery produced only decorative tiles.
