This is my prize find from our local Goodwill :
The vase has a matte blue-green glaze almost turquoise ( not as dark as in the pictures) over a yellowish under glaze and stands 10 1/2″ tall. The top is 6″in dia. and the base is 5″in dia. with small handles at the bottom.It doesn’t seem to have any damage at all. There is a drip on the very bottom that looks like it’s worn away,but it doesn’t show.The inside shows dripping were the glaze runs to the bottom with some of the under glaze showing through. There is no factory mark on the bottom just something that looks like three 1’s ( 111 ) stamped into the clay. I’ve searched for a few days and have come up with nothing. It seems to have the looks of Rookwood, Roseville, Weller, McCoy, etc.but nothing I can pin down. I’ve had one opinion that it might be early Pfaltzgraff art pottery from the 1930’s. Can anyone help me solve this mystery ??
