Hi group, I am a new subscriber so forgive me if I violate any unspoken rules…:cheer:
I bought a beautiful Tureen but cant figure out the manufacturer hence the approx age. This N symbol is not on the list provided here by Kovels, I have looked twice. Can you help? See photos. Thanks all – Daryl….:) Well I cant figure out the photo option yet.:S This is a white tureen COVERED with 3 dimensional flowers around the middle and arount middle of lid. N has a circle around it. a semi circle above with 5 lines protruding upwards from the semi circle. The center one is a bit longer. You could say it looks like a sunrise. The N is rather plain – no scrolls or warping of the shape. Looks like a regular old N. Lines of N more bold than narrow. Thanks

From my research true capodimonte made in Italy does not have a circle around the N and the marks are mostly cobalt blue. China also used this mark along with other factories.
