Hello, I have acquired 2 porcelain dragons done by the Japanese art studio Yoshimi K. One has too much damage in my opinion too even try to Identify. The other is in mint condition and is actually a fairly large piece at 14 inches long. The dragon is sitting on a cloud and is holding a ball. I already have a pretty good idea on its value, but I have not found, and can not find any information on Yoshimi K.. I would like to find some printed information so I can frame it and display it with the dragon. Thank you everyone. Pictures are attatched.

Those attachments do not work here !! Post pics to this site but even that is not really necessary !! There is no artist or studio by that name that could be found !! Yoshimi means Beautiful !! There are tons of these dragons and other ceramic items signed the same on most all of the selling sites !! You can also find them at Wal-Mart, Amazon, Etsy, Ebay and others !! The figures are just reproductions of the same thing !! Nothing I saw was unique about them except different colors !! Some were signed others had a stick on label !! I think these were bought under contract for department stores or for import shops here !!
Saw some of these that said Made for John Jenkins, Dallas Texas and there are several by that name,, but all are business men with no connection to anything related to pottery or porcelain !! Another said John Jenkins international,, and there is one by that name but he collects airplanes and aviation equipment,, another said John Jenkins collection,, and again there is one by that name but his collection is vintage toy soldiers !! All of these had the Yoshimi K name on the piece,,!! So basically what you have is just another Japanese import !! They have done this stuff for years !!
