Hi

Need some help identifying the mark on this candlestick, was in a lot i bought and described as french faiance but i dont think it is can someone help please.

I found a similar mark. It appears to be the letter F over the letter C. This can possibly be the mark for a porcelain company called Fourmaintraux in operation in France since the 1800’s. I also found an item with alike pattern as yours. If this is an original it could be very valuable. I will do more research.

Not sure about value but am selling it on my etsy shop for £60 and have listed it as either emile or courquin fourmaintraux as cant really see any other maker it could be really but if you do find out the exact maker would be great thanks

The extra marks are likely decorators marks and can be different even on similar items !! Depends on who decorates that particular piece !! They will have more than one person who paints these before firing !! Does not add any value unless signed by a known decorator !!
