Hello all! I really need help in identifying this piece. On the bottom it says RRP CO, USA ROSEVILLE, also this piece is very heavy. Thanks for the help!

Yes, your RRP is genuine. As far as value goes RRP is not very collectable yet.One of the biggest reason it is not is because the older generation have enough pottery. The younger generation is trying to stay above water with the economy. After selling face to face with people for over 25 years the biggest pottery buyers are men. The women shop for small kitchen crocks or crock bowls. If your flower pot were to come up at an auction it would be less than $5.00 with a few other pots thrown in a box. If you are a young person hang on to it. better day’s are coming. Check completed listings on e-bay and you will know what I mean. Even if you don’t like e-bay this is where people go on their hand held electronic devices to check items for sale and compare with my price or your’s.

I am sorry, I wasn’t very clear. Basically, I want to know if it is real or not and how much it is worth. I want to sell it eventually.

I’m sorry I have it backwards. It’s Porcelian & Pottery and more. I don’t know exactly what you want. are you looking for date of your pot? Then go google Robinson-ransbottom pottery marks and you might be able to come up with date by mark. Are you looking for value? As far as I know they do not have pattern names. I don’t know what you want to identify. are you looking for an exact pot like your’s? They made thousands if not millions of poterry vases and pot’s and most are very heavy.

Thanks for the info, but I cannot find that website. I have looked for this item everywhere I could think of on the net, unfortunately I have not found anything.

you have a flower pot. RRP stands for Robinson-Ransbottom co. In business from 1900 to 2005. Not highly collectable yet. It has nothing to do with the more collectable Roseville pottery line. You can find it all over the network. Go to Pottery & Pocelian and More.com
