I need help identifying the mark on this set of dinnerware. I tried searching P and C, but neither brought up a match. It resembles an old Crown Pottery England mark, maybe it is a modern version, or knock-off? I thought maybe Crown Pottery USA, but only find a mark with a crown on it. I am assuming that Montclaire is the pattern name.
The set belonged to the mother of a friend’s 95 year old neighbor. I don’t know when the mother died, so I don’t know an end date of manufacture.
Given there is no country of origin in the mark does anyone think it is before the tariff mark was required? Or was it possibly US made not for export so the country was not needed?
Any ideas would be welcome.

I found out that the original owner died in 1977, so they date before that.
